Board Certified-Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner 

Perform comprehensive psychiatric patient interviews/ assessments. Diagnose psychiatric illnesses based on DSM-V-TR criteria. Provide CBT, IPT, and Humanistic therapy. Prescribe indicated medications such as SSRIs, mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, etc. Ensure adequate charting of patient's symptoms, treatment plans, history, diagnosis, and medication treatment. 

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner 

Taylor works as CEO and primary practitioner at her private practice. Available to see patients virtually and in person. Performs diagnostic evaluations, therapy and prescribe medications if needed. 

Psychiatric Registered Nurse 

Crisis stabilization, provide emergency medications, perform therapeutic communication, effective administration of mediation and reevaluation after nursing interventions are completed, de-escalation of behavior, and collaboration for patient discharge planning. Worked with adolescents and adults. 

Performed psychosocial assessment and brief nursing assessment upon admission, safe medication administration, utilization review on weekends, reviewing of patient medical and mental health cases, and prior insurance authorizations. 

Handled crisis situations, caring for the more critical clients both adolescents and adults, provided patient resources, provided patient education, motivational interviewing, and provided guidance. 

As a RN worked with clients 13 years and older. The clients all worked toward their goals while in daily DBT. Worked with various eating disorders: Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia, Binge and Purging disorders. In addition worked with co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. Provided continual emotional and medical support.

A follow-up visit with a provider involves checking the progress of the patient's treatment plan, assessing any new symptoms or concerns, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Follow-up Visit

A medication refill appointment with a provider typically involves a brief review of the individual's existing patient's medical history, confirming the need for the medication refill, and issuing a new prescription. It may also involve evaluating any side effects or concerns related to the medication and ensuring that the treatment plan is still appropriate for the patient's needs.

Prescription service

An opportunity for potential patients to discuss their concerns or needs with a provider, or therapist, to determine if their services are a good fit and to receive initial advice or guidance. Many providers offer free or very affordable consultation services with potential patient leads.
