A follow-up Mental Health telemedicine visit with Tara involves checking in to see how you are responding to treatment, any side effects, questions and/or concerns and  plan of care moving forward.  

Follow-up: Mental Health Visit (ESTABLISHED patient) 

A medication refill from a provider typically involves a brief review of ESTABLISHED patient's medical history, evaluating any side effects from medication, confirming the appropriateness for the medication refill and issuing a new prescription (as appropriate). 
* If you are on a stimulant medication you will need to provide your blood pressure, heart rate & body weight at every apt.
**Your provider may need to convert medication refill request into telemedicine visit if necessary.

An Urgent Care/ Sick NEW visit with a provider involves a medical history review, an assessment of symptoms, possible diagnostic tests to evaluate ailment and develop a treatment plan.

***Telemedicine is only appropriate for NON-severe symptoms. Examples:  UTI, poison ivy, sore throat, ear/eye/sinus infections, cold, bronchitis, Flu/ COVID. Any life threatening symptoms like: shortness of breath, chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe abdominal pain please go to your nearest emergency room.
