Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Velile S. Nkolomi, and I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a passion for helping individuals achieve their best mental health. With certifications across Texas, Washington, Oklahoma, and New Mexico, I've dedicated my career to providing empathetic and effective care.
Since joining Broadway Psychiatry in June 2020, I've specialized in the diagnosis, evaluation, and management of psychiatric conditions for patients aged 6 and older. My approach is always personalized, ensuring that each individual receives the attention and treatment that aligns with their unique needs.
Prior to my current role, I was part of the compassionate team at TeamHealth at Seay Behavioral Center where I conducted screenings and evaluations for inpatient admissions. There, I also managed medication for patients aged 12 and up, ensuring their journey to wellness was on the right track.
My experience extends to Garland Behavioral Hospital as well, where I've been supporting inpatient care since November 2017. Here, I focus on medication management in a collaborative environment, always prioritizing patient support and recovery.
