Thank you for visiting my profile. I have been a
registered nurse for 14 years, with the most recent 11 years in psychiatry. The
psychiatric settings include intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and inpatient
acute psychiatric care, including substance abuse and detoxification for
patients across the lifespan. The inpatient psychiatric setting also has a
military program designed only for active-duty military.
Throughout my
nursing experience, I have learned many skills from bedside nursing to leadership
positions. I have worked in both acute care and outpatient psychiatric settings,
step-down acute medical, long-term care (nursing home), and home health settings. Caring for
patients is something I do passionately.
