Meet Scotty Gilmore
Hi I'm Scotty a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. I help gay men make relationships work.
Gay men deserve fulfilling, healthy relationships—but navigating love, connection, and intimacy isn’t always easy. Maybe you're feeling disconnected, struggling with communication, or caught in cycles of shame and self-doubt. Whether you’re single and navigating dating, in a relationship facing challenges, or dealing with anxiety, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I help gay men make relationships work by providing a supportive space to explore challenges, strengthen connections, and build the love life you want. Therapy is a place to be seen, understood, and supported.
Together, we’ll improve communication, deepen emotional and physical intimacy, and break free from patterns that no longer serve you. Whether you're looking to reconnect in your relationship, gain confidence in dating, or heal from past wounds, therapy can help. You deserve a fulfilling, authentic life, and I’m here to help you create it.
With years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I understand the intersection of mental health and relationships. My work is informed by professional expertise and my own lived experience as a gay man, allowing me to provide affirming, knowledgeable support. If you’re ready to invest in yourself, reach out today.

My philosophy
Therapy, to me, isn’t about fixing people—it’s about creating a space where they can be real, be seen, and figure out what thriving actually looks like for them. With over a decade in mental health, I’ve worked with all kinds of people, but my heart is especially with gay men and the broader LGBTQIA+ community. No two journeys are the same, so I tailor my approach to each person, using evidence-based techniques that help untangle the mess, make sense of the noise, and move toward something better. My goal? To help clients live more authentically—where they can face their challenges with clarity and own their strengths without hesitation. We’ll walk this path together, and I’ll be right there with you, every step of the way.
