Meet Diane Zabielski
Compassionate, Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Hello! I'm Diane L. Zabielski, a dedicated healthcare provider with over 27 years of experience. Currently, I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner practicing in Reisterstown, MD. I specialize in evaluating and treating mental health and behavioral issues, always aiming to improve patient outcomes with empathy and best practices.
Before this role, I spent several rewarding years as an Assistant Professor at Stevenson University and Notre Dame of Maryland University. I enjoyed guiding nursing students, mentoring them, and developing new programs like the Forensic Nursing concentration. Prior to that, I specialized in cardiac care, critical care, and emergency nursing with attention to psychiatric underlying illnesses in both forensic and emergency nursing practice.
A bit about my teaching background: I’ve taught a variety of courses, both online and in person, and have mentored countless nursing students at every level of their education. I believe in active learning and connecting with my students to help them succeed.
When I'm not working, I enjoy engaging with my friends, two teenagers, and our Labrador Retrievers! My goal is to bring compassion, knowledge, and dedication to every patient with whom I interact.
I'm here to support you on your journey to better mental health. Please feel free to reach out!
