Hello, I'm Mary McManus, a Family Nurse Practitioner with 30 years of healthcare experience. I specialize in Psychiatric and Family Practice Medicine, while using Functional Medicine principles, to diagnose and treat common mental and chronic health conditions.
I earned my BSN in 1994 from Marquette University, and later, my MSN from NIU, becoming a board-certified FNP in 2004. I have been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner for about 20 years, mostly in the Retail Clinic setting, diagnosing acute illnesses and treating chronic conditions, from 18 months old and up through the life span. For the past few years, I have integrated genetic testing into my practice, for a custom-made treatment plan, which ensures a better overall outcome. I currently see my patients virtually on HelloKlarity, a cash-pay platform which allows visits from the comfort of the home. My passion is to support and empower my patients on their journey toward better mental and physical health, while collaborating with them to create a plan that works best for them.
