HI, I'm Cheryl Spice, a compassionate and patient-centered healthcare professional dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to optimal health and wellness. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide comprehensive care, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy. I specialize in offering both medication management and therapy in the same appointment.

My background includes working in community health settings, where I coordinated holistic care by collaborating with primary care providers. I am passionate about providing mental health assessments, counseling, and support for adults.

My academic journey includes a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Colorado State University-Pueblo. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in in Psychology and Masters in Agency Counseling from the University of Colorado. I started my career as a counselor in 1999 and later went on to combine those skills with nursing 2015. With each degree and clinical experience, I have gained valuable knowledge and skills to meet your needs.

Medication Management with Therapy
A follow-up visit with a provider involves checking the progress of the patient's treatment plan, assessing any new symptoms or concerns, adjusting the treatment plan as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes, and about 55 minutes of therapy.
