In my role as a Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner, I have successfully treated adolescents and adults with a wide range of psychiatric and mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and mood disorders. I have provided care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient. My focus on evidence-based, patient-centered care has allowed me to empower clients to better understand and manage their mental health, leading to healthier, more fulfilling lives. Through this approach, I have built strong, trusting relationships with my patients and improved their overall well-being.

I conducted comprehensive home health assessments, providing personalized care to patients in their own environments. I gathered and interpreted detailed medical, family, and social histories to better understand each patient's needs. By collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, I helped create and implement effective care plans, recommending necessary diagnostic tests and therapeutic interventions when appropriate. Additionally, I provided valuable patient education on chronic disease management and medication, empowering individuals to take control of their health and improve their quality of life.

It may also involve evaluating any side effects or concerns related to the medication and ensuring that the treatment plan is still appropriate for the patient's needs.
