In the initial consultation, we will discuss your current concerns and your past history. This time will be used to get to know you better as a person. At the end of the session, we will discuss treatment options and next steps.


Intake

Focused follow up appointments are briefer visits where the primary aim is to review medications prescribed and check in on aspects of your life.


Follow-up

Extended follow up appointments include psychotherapy in efforts to create a deeper understanding of yourself, with the hope that this will help you work towards your goals. Psychotherapy works best if done on a regular basis. During these visits, we can also review medications if necessary. This follow up is also appropriate for detailed treatment planning, including conferring with family members. I do not take insurance for this type of appointment.
