Consult with a psychiatrist about client medication changes, issues with medicine compliance, and efficacy of medications—guided clients in understanding illnesses and treatment plans. We evaluated patients for psychiatric services and psychotropic medication.  Monitored patients prescribed psychotropic medications/assess the medications’ effectiveness and side effects.  Conducted psychiatric evaluations and executed medication management for skilled nursing facilities.  Diagnosed with mental health, emotional, and substance abuse disorders.  Assessed the need for, ordered, obtained, and interpreted appropriate lab tests. We managed the pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment of various disorders.
