Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

•	Provides psychiatric assessment and treatment of individuals with a broad range of mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and addictions.

•	Initiate IVs and ensure that patients are informed about the procedure.
•	Assess patients' post-operative conditions.
•	Monitor vital signs.
•	Log all findings in patient files.
•	Answer patient questions and ensure they are kept comfortable.
•	Monitor patients for condition changes and report any changes to the physician.
•	Perform intervention duties in cases of postoperative emergencies.

•	Functions: Uses nursing procedures/skills to care for critically ill patients with various complex diseases across all lifespans
•	Provide care to patients across the lifespan with different conditions from infants, children, pregnant women, and the elderly.
•	Administration of critical IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, nitroglycerin, and heparin
•	Assists in the completion of sexual assault examinations.
•	ED room preparation for patients, including sterilization of medical instruments and surfaces before and after visits.
•	Maintains safe and effective care to patients with different acuity levels in a time-restricted and demanding environment.
•	Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.


•	Responsible for the clinical and administrative functions of the unit
•	Ensure cost-effectiveness and safety of patient care.
•	Ensure optimal patient outcomes.
•	Work with physicians to properly plan patient care.
•	Supervise and evaluate employees, and work with patients and their families to help with healthcare needs.
•	Evaluate and monitor conduct that is safe, legal, and ethical.
•	Supervise all aspects of direct and indirect nursing care to residents in the medical care facility.


Unite Manager/Nurse

•	Functions: Responsible for ensuring patients are properly and safely cared for and that patient charts and medication administration records, or MARs, are properly documented, according to facility policy
•	Supervised Certified Nursing Assistants, (CNAs), on the shift.
•	Responsible for medication administration to patients
•	Frequent rounds to check the health and safety of patients.
•	Responsible for making sure safety incident reports are reported, charted, and filed with the appropriate supervisors.
•	Always Ensured patients and employees were safe during the shift.


Licensed Practical Nurse-LPN

An initial visit with a provider involves a medical history review, an assessment of your specific symptoms and concerns, and possible diagnostic tests to evaluate a patient's health, identify issues, and develop and discuss treatment options.
