Psychopharmacology

•	Provides outpatient psychiatric assessment, medication management to patients with dual diagnoses- substance abuse disorder, and behavioral health patients. 
•	Work independently with other members of the medical team, with entitlements to specific responsibilities by the Chief of Medical Services/Chief of Psychiatry
•	Take part in an interdisciplinary team that provides care to patients.
•	Perform psychiatric evaluations, risk factor assessment and analysis, ordering of therapeutic and diagnostic tests; and attend consultations and appointments.
•	Prescribe medications following the clinic’s policy, formulary, and relevant regulations of the State.
•	Consult with physicians on cases that are beyond the scope of qualification of Advanced Practice Nurse

Registered Nurse

A prescription service appointment with a provider typically involves a brief review of his/her existing patient's medical history, confirming the need for the prescription service, and issuing a new prescription. It may also involve evaluating any side effects or concerns related to the medication and ensuring that the treatment plan is still appropriate for the patient's needs.

An opportunity for potential patients to discuss their concerns or needs with a provider, or therapist, to determine if their services are a good fit and to receive initial advice or guidance. Many providers offer free or very affordable consultation services with potential patient leads. Providers who add Free consultation as a service receives 2-3 times more prospects.
