Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

•	Admissions psychiatric evaluation, mini mental status exam and other documentations for admit or non-admit patients. Tele psychiatry with referring ER and jail patients. 
•	Inpatient assessments, evaluations, problem-oriented progress notes. DSM-5 problem-oriented discharge notes, H & P, annual exams, AIMS, C-SSRS, seclusion and restraints, face to face assessments and documentation in the electronic record and/or chart. 
•	Update psychiatric evaluation and medical problem according to medical staff policies. Completion of discharge summaries. 
•	Issuance, reconciliation and monitoring of medication orders, including psychotropic medication (consents, lacking capacity, emergency and TRC). Prescribe medications within guidelines specified in the notice and formulary submitted at state board of nursing.


Inpatient psychiatric nurse practitioner

•	Responsible for providing outpatient care to patients independently
•	Provides specialized care to children and adolescents and adults across the life span
•	Offers evidence-based mental health services to adults.
•	Performs suicide risk assessments and conducts history and physical examinations
•	Provides both pharmacological and nonpharmacological interventions.
•	Manages patients with alcohol and substance abuse and withdrawals
•	Advocates for patients.


Telehealth psychiatric Nurse practitioner

Evaluate, assess, diagnose and treat both adolescents, adult and geriatric population in outpatient/Tele-Psychiatry settings.

Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures. 
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.

A follow-up visit with a provider involves checking the progress of the patient's treatment plan, assessing any new symptoms or concerns, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes.
