I opened Tranquil Minds Psychiatry in an effort to bring mental health services to rural communities.  Some of the services performed include: assessments, initial evaluations, medication management, treatment planning based on evidence-based practice, psychotherapy, and referrals.

A second appointment may be necessary to finish up the evaluation due to time constraints.  I may also want to request records from previous providers or obtain consent to talk to friends or family members to further clarify information. 
Once the initial evaluation is complete, we will discuss the treatment plan, that we both agree with.

It may also involve evaluating any side effects or concerns related to the medication and ensuring that the treatment plan is still appropriate for the patient's needs.
