PMHNP - BC

Assess, diagnose, and treat the mental health needs of
adult patients suffering form ADHD, Depression &
Anxiety

Provides services to adults experiencing severe and
disabling mental illnesses, regardless of ability to pay.

Clinical Nurse II:

24-bed inpatient hospital psychiatric locked facility caring for
individuals admitted who are in acute crisis, requiring a high
level of psychiatric care and safety; also those suffering from
substance abuse requiring detoxification and stabilization.

Staff Nurse II

Care of patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness
requiring stabilization; provides services to adults experiencing
severe and disabling mental illnesses,
regardless of ability to pay.

Staff Nurse II:

Takes care of acutely ill patients who require constant
monitoring of heart rhythms and oxygen levels for a range of
reasons, including heart attacks, stroke, congestive heart
failure, immediate neuro/spine surgery, and alcohol
withdrawal; those who are just transferred out of the critical
units, immediate post-op patients, as well as newly admitted
from the Emergency Department requiring constant
neurological assessment, heart and oxygen, and glucose level
monitoring

I will conduct a medical history review, physical examination, and possibly diagnostic tests to evaluate a patient's health, identify issues, and develop a treatment plan.

Initial Visit

I will check the progress of the treatment plan, assessing any new symptoms or concerns, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Follow-up visit

I will conduct a brief review of the patient's medical history, confirming the need for the medication refill, and issuing a new prescription. It may also involve evaluating any side effects or concerns related to the medication and ensuring that the treatment plan is still appropriate for the patient's needs.
