for patients in all age groups in urgent care and family practice setting
- Made diagnosis and ordered appropriate work-up and medication/treatment for chronic diseases and episodic illness
- Performed ambulatory procedures, including abscess I&D, laceration repair,
Injury/fracture management, EKG interpretation, pap smear, abscess I&D, wound care, FB
removal, etc.

Nurse Practitioner

Obtained medical history. Performed physical Examinations in an urgent care setting.
- Made diagnosis and ordered appropriate work-up and medication/treatment
- Supervised staff of medical assistants and LVNs
- Performed ambulatory procedures, including abscess I&D, FB removal, dis-impactions, ear
lavage, etc
- Responsible for clinical decisions in the absence of the medical director

Provided comprehensive nursing care to patients in intensive care and step-down unit
with different health care needs including cardiac, respiratory, gastrointestinal, renal,
ventilations, stroke patients, insulin drips, cardiac drug titration, etc.
❖ Assessed patients using the nursing process, administered medications using the “five
rights,” documented the effects of medications, and reported to physicians and other
health care teams appropriately.
❖ Provided thorough bedside care and performed nursing duties while ensuring Doctors’
orders were carried out.

Registered Nurse

Provided nursing care to patients with different ailments including diabetes, high blood
pressure, stroke, MI, pre/post lung and heart transplant.
Administered medications, monitored effects of medication, documented and reported to
the physician and other health care team appropriately.
