I have demonstrated by dedication and versatility by stepping into multiple roles at two very different facilities during times of need. At one, I worked as an urgent care provider, filling in when they were short-staffed to ensure continuity of patient care. At the other, I provided outpatient psychiatric services as a nurse practitioner, I continued in these roles until the positions were filled, at which point I transitioned into the role I was hired for in the integrative care department. My adaptability and commitment ensured both facilities maintained high standards of care during the transition period.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Family Nurse Practitioner

At a rural convenient care facility, I provided comprehensive care by managing both primary and urgent care needs. I performed numerous procedures, including sutures, incision and drainage, and wound care, delivering timely and effective treatment. Additionally, I managed chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity, while addressing a variety of urgent care concerns. My work ensured patients in this underserved community received high-quality care chose to home.

Family Nurse Practitioner

An initial visit with a provider involves a medical history review, an assessment of your specific symptoms and concerns, and possible diagnostic tests to evaluate a patient's health, identify issues, and develop and discuss treatment options.

A follow-up visit with a provider involves checking the progress of the patient's treatment plan, assessing any new symptoms or concerns, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Follow-up Visit

A prescription service appointment with a provider typically involves a brief review of his/her existing patient's medical history, confirming the need for the prescription service, and issuing a new prescription. It may also involve evaluating any side effects or concerns related to the medication and ensuring that the treatment plan is still appropriate for the patient's needs.
