SoundMind Care is an out-patient mental health practice with the goal of restoring mental health to the general population. Mental health assessment, diagnosis, and prescription of psychotropic medications to clients with mental illnesses. Medications management to clients with depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, substance use disorder, just to name a few. 

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Performed mental health assessment, diagnosed, and prescribed psychotropic medications to clients with mental illnesses. Provided medications management to clients with depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, substance use disorder, just to name a few. 

Psychiatric Mental Health Intern

Delivered care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention implementation, and evaluation, in accordance with hospital policy and philosophy. Documented initial and ongoing patient assessment in a complete, concise, and timely manner according to policy and procedure of the organization. 

Registered Nurse

Worked at the Observation and Treatment Unit; assisting patients with day-to-day needs, including medication administration, feeding, and personal hygiene.  Administered medication and performed treatments, utilizing principles of aseptic technique to assigned patients according to the established policy and procedure of KaiserPermanente. 

An initial visit with a provider involves a medical history review, an assessment of your specific symptoms and concerns, and possible diagnostic tests to evaluate a patient's health, identify issues, and develop and discuss treatment options.

A follow-up visit with a provider involves checking the progress of the patient's treatment plan, assessing any new symptoms or concerns, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes.
