As a survivor of multivariate Trauma, I am called to serve those suffering with Mental health and Trauma symptoms. Trauma shows up in varied ways-one of which is anxiety and panic, Intrusive and obsessive thoughts, depression, insomnia, people pleasing, lack of boundaries or always facing the need to say "yes" to prove value, worth through the  constant activity, with an inability to just shut off on a day to day basis.  As a full scope PMHNP- I actively listen to understand those symptoms that my patients are struggling with. I use a salutogenic framework-so I view the person in a Holistic way-focused not on treating disease- but on treating those symptoms that are causing distress and dis-ease within their life, which includes somatic movement, breath work, CBT, MI and other modalities incorporating psychotherapy and medication and herbal supplements to bring about a deeper healing that comes from regulating effectively and processing those emotions that lead to current symptoms.

An initial visit with a provider involves a COMPREHENSIVE medical, BIO-PSYCHO SOCIAL history review, an assessment of your specific symptoms and concerns, DIAGNOSIS & TREAT- and possible diagnostic tests to evaluate a patient's health, identify issues, and develop and discuss treatment options.

PSYCHIATRIC INTAKE

A follow-up visit with a provider involves checking the progress of the patient's treatment plan, assessing any new symptoms or concerns, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes. Incorporating Psychotherapy and medication assessment/adjustment as needed.

PSYCHOTHERAPY & MEDICATION MANGEMENT

A prescription service appointment with a provider typically involves a brief review of his/her existing patient's medical history, confirming the need for the prescription service, and issuing a new prescription. It may also involve evaluating any side effects or concerns related to the medication and ensuring that the treatment plan is still appropriate for the patient's needs.

MEDICATION ONLY FOLLOW UP

An opportunity for potential patients to discuss their concerns or needs with a provider, or therapist, to determine if their services are a good fit and to receive initial advice or guidance. Many providers offer free or very affordable consultation services with potential patient leads. Providers who add Free consultation as a service receives 2-3 times more prospects.
