	•	Trained in pellet placement procedure and extraction. 

	•	Providing common and complex gynecological and obstetrical care to women and their partners in a federally qualified health center.
	•	Providing care to patients ranging from puberty throughout the post reproductive years.
	•	Providing and educating on interventions in health promotion, health maintenance, disease prevention, and common gender related conditions.
	•	Maintaining patient charts and confidential files using EMR; EPIC.
	•	Collaborating with other health care providers to develop a multi-disciplinary, comprehensive approach in the care of women and their partners throughout the lifespan.

	•	Managing the care of patients on medical-surgical units throughout the hospital, including high risk maternal fetal medicine, gynecology, obstetrics, and post-partum units.

	•	Participating in an interdisciplinary team of nurses, nursing assistants, physicians and residents, caseworkers, physical and occupational therapists, dieticians, and managers.
	•	Taking on the responsibilities of charge nurse, such as, providing assistance to coworkers, managing patient assignments and discharges, and decreasing risks for infection through Foley catheter and central line catheter auditing.
	•	Mentoring and training newly hired nurses and student nurses.
