An opportunity for potential patients to discuss their concerns or needs with a provider, and an mutual assessment of whether the provider is the right fit for the patient. 

A follow-up visit with a provider involves checking the progress of the patient's treatment plan, assessing any new symptoms or managing side-effects of the treatment plan and providing medication refills.  

A medication refill appointment with a provider typically involves a brief review of the existing patient's medical history, side effects of the medication, and review of the assigned questionnaire. A telemedicine visit is typically not necessary, but can be requested at the provider's discretion.
