Attending psychiatric provider for 24 bed inpatient forensic treatment unit with population of severely and persistently mentally ill clients, provide individual and group psychotherapy, prescribe medications, order and interpret labs, treatment planning, court room testimony, collaboration with other service providers. 

Perform initial and follow-up assessments, diagnose and treat mental illness, provide supportive psychotherapy, prescribe medications, order and interpret labs, treatment planning, collaboration with other service providers. 

An initial visit with a provider involves a medical history review, an assessment of your specific symptoms and concerns, and possible diagnostic tests to evaluate a patient's health, identify issues, and develop and discuss treatment options.

A follow-up visit with a provider involves checking the progress of the patient's treatment plan, assessing any new symptoms or concerns, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes.
