As the owner of Feel Better & Co., I’ve leveraged my extensive experience working in diverse healthcare environments across the country to create a unique and effective practice. I provide both remote and in-person psychiatric care, ensuring that my patients receive personalized, compassionate support wherever they are. My journey through various roles and locations has allowed me to bring a wealth of knowledge and a holistic approach to mental health care, now focused on making a meaningful impact in the communities I serve. At Feel Better & Co., I’m committed to empowering my patients on their path to wellness, with a team-oriented approach that’s both innovative and deeply rooted in real-world experience.

Owner and PMHNP at private in-person and remote practice

During my time working remotely as an urgent care PMHNP for SLO, covering for someone on maternity leave, I embraced the flexibility the role offered. This allowed me to maintain my professional responsibilities while also pursuing personal adventures. I ran a half marathon in San Diego, visited Chicago twice, took a scenic train ride to Montana to explore Glacier National Park, and enjoyed quality time with my family in Florida. This period not only enhanced my work-life balance but also fueled my passion for providing accessible mental health care no matter where life takes me.  This posotion required me to think on-the-fly and address immediate needs. 

Urgent Care PMHNP

In my part-time role at Teletherapeutics, I also see patients in California and Washington, which allows me to work flexible hours outside of my primary practice, Feel Better & Co. This schedule enables me to provide continuous care to a broader patient base while still focusing on growing my private practice. Balancing these commitments has allowed me to extend my reach and impact in the mental health field.

Telehealth PMHNP

During the initial 60-minute visit, we will take a comprehensive look at your medical and psychiatric history, engage in talk therapy, and provide education on your mental health. This session includes an in-depth assessment and the development of a personalized plan. It’s important to note that a formal new diagnosis typically isn't made after just one meeting; the focus is on identifying key issues and collaboratively creating a strategy to address them.

Initial Visit/Initial Psychiatric Evaluation 

Follow-up appointments, typically lasting 30 minutes, are designed to assess your current status, revisit your treatment plan, and make any necessary adjustments. These sessions go beyond just medication refills; they include a review of your progress, discussion of any changes in symptoms, and continued talk therapy. We’ll also evaluate how well the current plan is working and make revisions as needed to ensure you’re on the right path toward your mental health goals. My approach is always to e

Follow-up Visit

A 15-minute medication refill appointment is our shortest session type, designed for patients who are stable or expected to remain stable. During this quick check-in, we’ll review your current medications, ensure they’re still working effectively, and address any brief concerns or questions you might have. These appointments are focused on maintaining your treatment plan with minimal disruption, ensuring you continue to receive the care you need with efficiency and convenience.
