Hello! My name is Sofia C. Arras, and I am a dedicated mental health nurse practitioner with extensive experience across various age groups, from children to seniors. I specialize in treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ADHD, OCD, eating disorders, and addiction.
I have worked in numerous healthcare settings, providing care in areas like med-surg, neurology, geriatrics, and rehab. My experience includes both general and mental health assessments, ensuring comprehensive care for all my patients. I am well-versed in management and have effectively administered vaccinations and provided support during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of my holistic approach, I emphasize patient education on health promotion, disease management, recovery, and medication. Open communication with my patients is key, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
