Meet Jamie Stiffler

I'm a dual board certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner
I’m Jamie Stiffler, a nurse practitioner based in York, PA, with over six years of experience in hospital and acute inpatient care. I specialize in family education and personalized care for various health conditions. I am certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

I’m proud to have helped build and work on the Suboxone Bridge Program at WellSpan York Hospital. Our team supports inpatients struggling with opioid use disorder, starting them on suboxone in the hospital and connecting them with outpatient providers for continuing care. This role has deepened my passion for behavioral health as I witness many patients improve.

In my practice, I focus on medication management and have a keen interest in psychiatry, bringing empathy and attentiveness to my work every day. I assess and treat patients, always listening to their concerns and helping them explore treatment options. I’m committed to providing compassionate care and fostering positive health outcomes for all my patients.

WellSpan York Inpatient Suboxone Bridge Team
Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner - Part-time
Jun 2019 - Present
I see inpatient's at a Level 1 trauma center who are struggling with opioid use disorder. I do an induction of buprenorphine to help them better manage their pain and withdrawal symptoms, if they consent to treatment. I then titrate and optimize their dose based on their individual response and help get them set up with an outpatient provider before discharge, who can continue to prescribe them buprenorphine and help them maintain their sobriety.View all
