Meet Camile Cole
Camile Cole APRN,PMHNP-BC
I’m a dedicated healthcare professional with a strong background in both medical and psychiatric nursing. My journey in nursing began with an Associate's Degree from Hostos Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Staten Island. I further advanced my expertise with a Master's degree in Psychiatric Nursing from Hunter College.
Over the years, I've provided exceptional care in various settings, including Elmhurst Hospital and New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist. I have a wide range of experience, from caring for critically ill patients to helping those recovering from surgery. I’ve worked extensively with COVID-19 patients and managed various medical conditions like cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and more. The last 3 years I have spent treating psychiatric conditions across the life span with a focus in Major Depression, Anxiety and Behavior disorders.
I have a strong skill set at managing medications and along with using various psychotherapy techniques. I’m also familiar with new advances in psychiatry.
I hold multiple certifications, including BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale, and I'm Board Certified by the ANC. As a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, I’m committed to staying current in my field.
I believe in compassionate, patient-centered care and strive to create a supportive environment for my patients. My goal is to ensure that every patient feels heard, understood, and well cared for.
