Hello! I'm Anita Durnen, a dual board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have been in the healthcare field since 2010. I believe in the power of listening with acceptance and compassion, and most importantly, without judgement. I aim to empower my clients to navigate their emotions, overcome obstacles, and achieve optimal mental wellness. I integrate a personalized treatment plan that may include med management, therapy, nutrition, exercise, and mindfulness. I actively collaborate with other care providers, including therapists, specialists, and primary care doctors to ensure best treatment outcomes.
I offer psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children, adolescents and adults. My special interests include women’s health issues, anxiety, depression, bipolar/mood disorders, psychosis, and sleep disorders.
