My name is Annie Thomas. I am a PMHNP. I have been a nurse for almost 23 years and have always been passionate about helping people with mental health issues. Having witnessed the impact of mental health issues firsthand, I have a deep empathy and a strong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others facing similar challenges. My goal is to provide holistic care by blending my medical knowledge with a compassionate and understanding approach to help individuals overcome any obstacles related to their mental health.
I initially trained as a Registered Nurse in India, where I gained extensive experience in various speciality. After moving to the U.S., I continued my education, earning both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing. Recently, I became a Board Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
In addition to my clinical work, I’m an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Nurses Association and the Florida Nurses Association, which keeps me updated on the best practices in nursing and mental health care.
My greatest strength is my ability to empathize with patients and prioritize their well-being.
